We are making quick progress down the coast. Something told us that our trip wouldn’t really start until we got to LA to watch the sunset. Thus we’ve decided to forgo any side trips and head straight to Santa Monica to visit one of my good friends. Tonight we stopped in Sacramento after another 6 hour push with Ella, but this time we got a bonus for time in the car. Amani is working down here for a couple weeks so we were able share great stories about Emma and just have a enjoyable dinner with her.
The sun has been coming out quite a bit and its much warmer down here (finally). Our goal is to reach Santa Monica by late afternoon tomorrow. Yee-haw!
