There isn’t much new to report on the girls. Yesterday they had their brains scanned to look for any cranial bleeding (which is typical in preemies). I’m happy to say that both girls checked out fine, no bleeding. Emma is almost breathing on her own, and still has a brady or two each day. Ella [...]

Apnea and Bradycardia

Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention today. Emma had a weird event. Her heart slowed down considerably and she stopped breathing for a few seconds. Ellen and I were kinda stunned, like deer in headlights. What happened was a bradycardia event (or brady for short).

Cross your fingers – delivery tonight!

Just got word from the doc that the babies are having minor complications , the complications are not that bad, but its enough of a problem that he feels that we should deliver the babies tonight. I’m freaking out now, but will post pix and an update in the next couple days.
